New Forest Boilies in France.

Here are some pics of just a few of a brilliant week JJ had at a french venue using New Forest Boilies 18mm Red Mist and 18mm Fish Five, they included (from top to bottom) a 36lb 4oz, 38lb 6oz and a 38lb 14oz on Red Mist, a 39lb 12oz as well as a 42lb 10oz on Fish Five. Cracking fish JJ, congratulations from Trev & Daz.

Korda Krusha

Excuse me if i am a bit behind the times (as i dont know when this came out in the shops) but i have just discovered the Korda Krusha and cant believe what a brilliant little gadget this is,i have been looking for something along these lines for a long time.
Over the past couple of years i have been using an old meat grinder to crush up old pellet and boilies for pva bags and method mixes but this thing will do the same job in seconds and will crush the hardest of pellets in to fine dust...

Hi All

I am just writing to say hi as I only joined last week, and that this has to be one of the best club websites around in my opinion, which I have found very helpful. Also the people that I have met at the lakes have given me some good advise on where to fish.

I fished the wash pit today and have already upped my PB with a 5lb 2oz tench, which put up a great fight. I was after carp, but was very happy with this added bonus!!

Barbel in keepnets

A bit of a random one here, but as a mad keen barbel angler who treats his fish with more care than you could imagine, i was couldn't believe seeing Bob Nudd in his new series putting Barbel approaching double figures in a keepnet. I think he ended up with at least 3 in the net, a large one and a couple of slightly smaller specimens.

I then turned the box on later and Mark Pollard is putting double figure carp in keepnets. Is this all common practise among match anglers? In...

Hugh and I had agood day today on the mill stream a mixed bag of dace ,some quite big, Roach to 1lb 6oz, Gudgeon, small Chub getting on for a total
of about 20 lbs plus Hugh had a pike of 11lb 12oz on a plug all great fun on the last week!

Pike Fishing

Hi All. I have a friend visiting over christmas and we're hoping to go out onto the rivers for a spot of pike fishing. Does anybody know of any areas that are fishing well? He's comming up from Cornwall and we're just hoping for some good sport no matter of size.

conditions depending, i will be hoping to trailer my boat to Keyhaven and launch early, for a winter cod session at the back of the needles. I have advertised for crew on usual boat fishing website (pbsbac.co.uk), but i thought i'd ping a message on here and see if there is any boat angling enthusiasts who fancy going, but as it's a first come first serve basis.

Split costs, i will chuck in a load of fuel (darn 2 stroke engine) and if someone wants to provide the squid and...

Hugh Miles (well known for his series 'Passion fo Angling' has made two further films to be shown on TV next year ' Searching for Gold' and 'Magic Circles' as part of his new 'Catching the Impossible' series.

As president of Wimborne AC he has agreed a public viewing of the films. Tickets are £5 with proceeds going to the ACA.

The viewings are at the Barrington Theatre, Ferndown, 8pm on both Tuesday November 25th and Tuesday December 2nd....
